Care

Care is a non-profit organization that works to alleviate poverty and social injustice, and supports women and children's rights. Their work also extends to issues such as food & water, health, education, and employment. In addition, they have a dedicated team focused on climate change and resilience, from creating and spreading knowledge, to providing resources to overcome these challenges.

In 2020 alone, Care worked in over 100 countries, running more than 1,300 different projects, and impacting the lives of more than 90 million people in the process. Over the years, Care has been dedicated to building a network of partnerships across the world, from corporations to foundations. Every one of them has contributed towards developing stronger communities and helping them enhance their economic and sustainable practices.

This non-profit is now accepting donations with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Every donation goes into their cryptographic care fund. These funds are immediately invested into high-impact issues such as COVID-19 relief and recovery, financial inclusion, education, emergency response, and climate resilience. According to their financial statements, in which they take pride, up to 90% of their expenses go towards program services.

Care helps fight poverty around the world by addressing multiple issues that surround it, from teaching people the skills to start and sustain their own businesses, to sending food and water packages to those in need.
