FTX

FTX is a cryptocurrency exchange platform that offers a wide range of innovative products and markets, including a very large number of crypto assets, futures, spot tradings, leveraged tokens, volatility markets, tokenized stocks, prediction markets, forex, options ("call" or "put" contracts), staking benefits, and even a Visa debit card.

The platform offers a very easy and intuitive process for trading in any crypto asset, with features such as virtually instantaneous token conversions and FIAT to Crypto deposits. With FTX, the trading of digital assets is also exclusively done with other digital assets. For example, if a user is looking to purchase any given tokenized stock, this must be done with cryptocurrency, and in the same way, any dividends on that stock would be collected in the same cryptocurrency.

The platform has numerous resources for traders to learn about current trends and market developments. A mobile app is also available, powered with all the features necessary to conduct any trading on the go, and a widget called FTX PAY, where users can send or receive payments in crypto or FIAT currencies. It's noteworthy that FTX has its own exclusive platform for people residing in the USA. This is because some of the digital assets traded in FTX International are currently being held under stronger regulations under US law.

Products

Crypto Debit Card

One of FTX's latest products is the FTX Visa Card. This debit card allows account holders to use their crypto balance to make payments to millions of merchants, wherever Visa cards are accepted. An important advantage of this card compared to its competitors is that it doesn't charge holders any processing or administrative fees. When using a FTX debit card, the conversion of crypto to FIAT is done automatically at the moment of the purchase. On the upside, users may hold their crypto for longer. On the downside, users don't have control over their cryptocurrencies' exchange rates.

Stocks

FTX offers tokenized stocks (derivatives) from a large number of companies, including Tesla, GameStop, Twitter, Robinhood, Google, Zoom, PayPal, ARK Innovation ETF, Apple, and many others. The equities provided by FTX are a derivative service made possible thanks to their partnership with CM-Equity AG, a German licensed financial institution permitted to offer these products and the custodian of the equities from which the derivatives are collateralized.
