Feeding America

Feeding America is a U.S.-focused charity organization that works towards fighting poverty by providing food and supporting community food banks by providing funds and supplies across the country. The organization has been helping people for more than 40 years, developing programs that cover school-based food pantries, emergency disaster relief, and other approaches. With 200 food banks, and 600 food pantries across the country, Feeding America provided more than 6 billion meals in 2020, reaching approximately 1 in every 7 inhabitants.

Their network of food banks also supports programs that educate people about hunger as a problem. Advocating for proper legislation that is set towards helping individuals in need, they believe that everyone, from individuals and communities to businesses and governments that have a role in the fight against hunger.

Feeding America has ranked in the top 3% of charity navigator's best organizations for transparency, accountability, and financial responsibility.
